History
The hall has been a central part of the village and local community since the 1920s, since the land and permission to build on it were bequeathed to the community. The original deed can be seen in the image above.
The hall was originally managed by the village Chapel and Church, and has had various names: including the Parish Rooms, Village Institute and Parish Hall. Click here to view the timeline of changes and improvements over the years.
During the war, the hall was also used as a school classroom for the evacuees.
A selection of history images and information extracts shown here are kindly provided by the Local History Display, available for public viewing in the Llanddewi Rhydderch Baptist Chapel.

As the hall is now a registered charity, we welcome your ongoing support and use of the hall, so that it can continue to be enjoyed for generations to come.
